The Interreg IPA CBC Programme
The Interreg IPA CBC Programme ”Greece – Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020” is a cross-border cooperation Programme co-financed by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II). The strategy statement of the Programme is “to enhance territorial cohesion by improving living standards and employment opportunities holding respect to the environment and by using the natural resources for upgrading of the tourism product”. The total budget of the Programme for the period 2014-2020 is 45.470.066,00 €.
IBiSEAit project at a glance
The “Increase innovative Business in Sea, Environment & Agriculture and IT” (IBiSEAit) project, founded by INTERREG IPA Cross Border Cooperation Programme CCI 2014 TC 16 I5CB 009 “Greece ‐ Republic of North Macedonia 2014‐2020”, proposes the creation of a pre-Incubator in the areas that will be involved in the project for the hosting of new innovative entrepreneurs in order to exploit the infrastructure, the characteristics and the advantages of the cross border area. More specifically, the proposed project will consist the next step of the project titled «SUPPORT CROSS BORDER ENTREPRENEURSHIP/ TRANSNATIONAL BUSINESS CONSULTANT» which is implemented in the framework of the previous Call of Cross Border Programme Greece-Republic of North Macedonia and the Overall Lead Partner and the partner of Republic of North Macedonia participated too.
The target groups of the proposed project will be the professionals that are specialised to one specific field of economy. Through this project it is scheduled to be implemented all the required procedures in order to establish a pre-incubator network and after the end of the project to be ready for full operation of the Incubator network in Republic of North Macedonia and Greece. More particular, there will take place actions as studies, researches, infrastructure restoration, workshops, mentoring etc in order to prepare the new entrepreneurship body (incubator).
